The I-SPHERE and CHIH May seminar will feature Franklin Johnstone Didymus who will present findings of their research on health’s role in homelessness prevention.
In this seminar, Frank will share some initial results from focus groups conducted with frontline healthcare workers; Frank will explore what enables healthcare workers to identify homelessness risk and the different responses workers have to housing need and risk of homelessness. Frank will also reflect on how their research could influence policy implementation, particularly the ‘ask and act’ duties in the recently passed Housing (Scotland) Bill 2025 and how to enable healthcare workers to enhance their engagement with homelessness prevention.
Sign up here and add it to your diary! The meeting details will be sent out shortly before the event.
