Join us for this unique session curated by the Centre for Homelessness Impact.

Evidence played a considerable role in efforts to minimise the potentially catastrophic impact of Covid-19 transmission and infection among people experiencing homelessness during the eruption of the pandemic. To take these efforts to another level we must challenge our assumptions about what we do and do not know when it comes to addressing homelessness. The answers to these questions have the potential to drive a truly transformational research agenda - one that will help us end homelessness for good.

With the coronavirus pandemic still deepening around us, in this session by the Centre for Homelessness Impact, you will have the opportunity to hear about their assessment of recent developments, some of their recent work, and explore what else needs to happen to improve how we use data and evidence to end homelessness sustainably in the UK.

Chair: Faye Greaves, Head of policy and practice, CHI

Session speakers:

  • Guillermo Rodriguez, Head of evidence and data, CHI
  • Tim Gray, Consultant and CHI Associate author of ‘Employment and homelessness in the context of the new economy following Covid-19’
  • Ciara Keenan, Research Fellow at Queen’s University Belfast and co-author of three systematic reviews produced in collaboration between CHI, the Campbell Collaboration and Queen’s University Belfast

The one-hour session will include opportunity to hear from all of the speakers, as well as a Q&A session. This session is available to all members of the HSA.
