This final plenary session of HSA20 will introduce a variety of research projects which focus on the relationship between the pandemic and housing.  Ligia Texeira from the Centre for Homelessness Impact will introduce their new project with Cardiff University, undertaking a Randomised Control Trial of interventions around homelessness in the context of COVID-19.  Matthew Carmona will discuss the findings from the Place Alliance’s research into the impact of housing and neighbourhood design in the context of a ‘stay at home’ message.  Finally, Phil Brown will discuss his research undertaken with the Northern Housing Consortium and the Nationwide Foundation on the day to day impact of poor housing on private renters and owner occupiers throughout the pandemic.

The session will be live and open to all (including non-members of the HSA).
